Capoeira Legado Ancestral

Capoeira Legado Ancestral was born in late 2024 in the search to connect more to the ancestrality of the art form and to offer something that better reflects the philosophy, values and vision of capoeira for Mestre Pirata.

Our group gets its name from the fact that first and foremost, capoeira is the legacy of our African ancestors who created it in Brazil and our desire to have a deeper connection and understanding of the art form. We strive to put an emphasis on a safe training based on the foundations of contemporary capoeira : team spirit and cooperative help, friendship, discipline, perseverance, humility, respect of self and of others, confidence, etc. These teachings allow our capoeiristas to gradually develop a healthy spirit in a healthy body. There is what constitutes the direct line of our group philosophy.
